Neuro-orthopedic center opened in Belgorod

The medical facility is located on the territory of GKB No. 2, where it occupies a completely new five-story building. The project managers note that within the walls of the organization, closed-loop medical care will be provided to citizens. What does it mean? First, the patient undergoes the procedure of diagnosing the disease in the shortest possible time, then highly qualified surgeons enter the work. After all surgical interventions, complete rehabilitation is performed. Areas of work: high-tech interventions in all parts of the spine, hand and foot surgery, endoscopic surgery of the knee, shoulder and other small joints, rehabilitation in the early postoperative and intermediate period.

The opening ceremony was attended by the first persons of the region, among whom was the Governor of the Belgorod region Yevgeny Savchenko. He noted that the residents of the region need the appearance of such institutions: almost 4 thousand people are waiting for treatment today. Modern medical surgical, rehabilitation and other equipment was purchased. The new facility on Gubkin Street became the center of robotics, endovideosurgery and microsurgery of the region. The capacity of the center is fifty thousand visits per year. It is planned to carry out up to a thousand operations. The staff is more than 100 people.
